Notice is hereby given that Millcreek Township intends to make application to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for FY 2021 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds in the amount of $242,539.
Based upon a public needs hearing and a review of project requests, the Township proposes that its FY 2021 CDBG funds be used for the following activities:
- (1) $212,539 - Sidewalk Replacement Project - Phase I: – Remove existing non-compliant and dangerous sidewalks and replace with 5’ ADA compliant concrete sidewalks along both the east and west side of Berkley Road from West 32nd St. to West 26th St. (SR 20). Transition all driveways to meet new sidewalk.
- (2) $30,000 - General management, oversight, and coordination of Millcreek Township’s CDBG Program.
A public hearing to take comment on how the Township proposes to use its FY 2021 CDBG funds is scheduled for 9:00 AM on Friday, July 23, 2021 in the Assembly Room of the Millcreek Township Municipal Building. The Township will make reasonable accommodation for any known disability that may interfere with a person’s ability to participate in these public hearings.
