Recycling Department

Reduce, reuse, recycle. This simple formula works in your home or business to save you money while helping conserve natural resources and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. In Millcreek Township, recycling and waste reduction are front and center in all of our programs and initiatives.

We have been a recycling community since 1998. There have been many changes in the program throughout the years. Our Recycling Department strives to keep our residents current and up to date on the newest recycling trends.

Millfair Compost & Recycling Center

The Millfair Compost & Recycling Center is a joint effort between Millcreek and Fairview Townships that is located on the border of the two municipalities at 2301 Millfair Road. The facility has been open since 2004 and receives over 20,000 visitors each year!

By accepting yard waste and leaves from our residents, we are able to provide natural mulch and compost products for sale.

Annual Millcreek Calendar

Mailed to 28,000 homes and businesses, the Millcreek Calendar is your guide to Township events and valuable recycling information.

If you did not receive yours, feel free to stop into the Municipal Building for a copy. We look for calendar photos from our residents, and ask that you contact the Recycling Department to submit your pictures.
