SIDEWALKS: Consolidates and clarifies Township
regulations governing sidewalks. It makes
clear, as does State law, that owners of lots abutting a sidewalk are
responsible for the maintenance and condition of the sidewalk. The ordinance prohibits placing things in a
sidewalk which obstruct its use, and it provides that property owners are
responsible for removing snow and ice so that sidewalks can be used during
winter. |
