Sommerheim Park
Neighborhood Park (10 acres)

Owned by Millcreek Township School District

Replaced by Tracy Elementary School

Initial Development & History:

In March, 1985 this park was declared a National Historic site by the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission National Registry.

 

Existing Equipment:

bullet3 Little League baseball fields with 4 sets of bleachers and 2 fenced fields
bulletOutdoor restrooms and storage building with electricity added in September of 1991
bulletDrinking fountain

 

Future Development:

bulletMillcreek School District began construction June 1997 on the new Tracy Elementary School.  All MYAA fields were lost due to construction.
bullet1998 - Park replaced by the new Tracy Elementary School
