Upon motion by     Mr. Paul J. Martin    , seconded by     Mr. Geo. S. Pulakos    , the following Ordinance was duly enacted,   3   voting in favor of enactment,   0   voting against enactment.

 

ORDINANCE NO.    65-5

 

An Ordinance to prohibit the parking of vehicles along the east side of Montpelier Avenue from West Lake Road to Argyle Avenue; providing for the erection of official signs; providing penalties for violations.

 

BE IT ENACTED AND ORDAINED by the Supervisors of Millcreek Township, Erie County, Pennsylvania, and it is hereby enacted and ordained by authority of same, as follows:

 


SECTION 1.   That no person shall at any time park or leave standing any vehicle within the limit of the street along the east line or side of Montpelier Avenue from West Lake Road to Argyle Avenue.

 

SECTION 2.   That official signs be placed along the east side of said Street between said points to warn the public that parking is prohibited.

 

SECTION 3.   That any person who shall violate any of the provisions shall upon summary conviction thereof before a Justice of the Peace be sentenced to pay a fine of not less than Two ($2.00) Dollars nor more than Ten ($10.00) Dollars and costs of prosecution and in default of payment thereof shall undergo imprisonment for a term not to exceed five (5) days.

 

SECTION 4.   That all Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
