NEW METHOD OF PAYMENT

Have you picked up your Millfair Compost & Recycling Center free residential permit yet?  Starting this Spring you will be able to use this permit for entrance into the Millfair Compost & Recycling Center and the Spring Clean Up.  Stop into your Township Building Recycling Office for more information.  The facility is free for Millcreek and Fairview residents to use for material that is from their primary residence.  If you have multiple properties and will need to use the facility, contact Christine at 833-1111.  If you are a business that would like to use the facility please contact Christine in the Recycling Office located in the Millcreek Municipal Building by calling 833-1111.

Starting this Spring when the site opens for the season, we will accept debit and credit cards as payment at the time of purchase.  If you wish to pay by cash or check, you may do so by stopping into the Recycling Office to prepay.  We will no longer write invoices for later payment.

 
Hours of Operation:

Monday through Wednesday - 8:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.
Thursday - CLOSED
Friday - Noon-7:00 p.m.
Saturday - 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
Sunday - Noon-5:00 p.m.

Materials Accepted Are: Leaf waste will be accepted as well as shrubbery, brush and tree trimmings.  These items will need to be emptied out of any containers or bags at the designated composting area.
Materials Not Accepted Are: Grass, sod, dirt or anything that has a large root system attached, food garden residue along with bamboo, ornamental grasses and corn stalks.

Items will be accepted loose; if bagged or boxed, items must be emptied out of containers at the designated composting area.

Leaves: Clear bags are the designated bag for curbside pickup.  Leaves must be emptied out of any container if brought to the site.
