OF DISPLAY OF DRAFT ACTION
FINAL
PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING
Notice
is hereby given that Millcreek Township intends to make application to the U.S.
Department of Housing and Urban Development for FY 2010 Community Development
Block Grant (CDBG) funds in the amount of approximately $250,000 to undertake
activities which address community development and/or housing needs as
identified in the Township’s Five Year Plan, and which primarily benefits
low-to-moderate income persons. The Township is entitled to the grant monies
each year under the provisions of Title I of the Housing and Community
Development Act of 1974, as amended.
Based
upon a public needs hearing and a review of project requests, the Township
proposes that its FY 2010 CDBG funds be used for the following activities:
1)
$195,000 –
2)
$25,000 –
3)
$5,000 –
Fair Housing and Predatory Lending Initiative Project
4)
$3,000 –
Fair Housing Testing and Case Tracking Project
5)
$22,000 –
General Program Administration
A “Draft” Action Plan
which briefly describes the projects is available for public review at the below
listed locations for thirty days starting
