Two parcels of land acquired from Mr. Sam Mineo. A 6.9
acre parcel purchased by the Township for $35,000.00 with assistance from Land
and Water Fund. A 3-acre parcel donated by Mr. Mineo (December 1973).
Acquired a $50,000 matching grant from Land and Water Fund; total project
cost of $100,000.00. Approved by Department of Community Affairs, June 9,
1976.
Construction started April 1977 with final inspection on construction on
November 9, 1977.
Development consists of: parking lot, commons area, multi-purpose area,
game area, ballfield, playlot.
