42nd Annual Millcreek Art Show
Eligibility/Mediums/Awards

Eligibility: Any artist who resides, works full time or owns property in Millcreek Township.

Categories are as follows:

  • Students grades K-2, 3-5, 6-8, 9-10,11-12
  • College Level
  • Adult Pastime
  • Professional*
Mediums:
  • Oil
  • Acrylic
  • Watercolor:  Transparent and opaque watercolor, acrylic wet work and tempera
  • Pastel, Graphics & Dry:  Pencil, ink techniques and charcoal
  • Mixed Media:  Two or more media on the same piece of work, collage, etc.

*All professional works will be judged as one category regardless of medium.

 
Non-Acceptable: Photographs, crafts, three-dimensional, commercial prints, computer art and copied art work.

All properly prepared entries will be hung, with the exception of any piece or work considered not suitable for public display.

All sales will be handled by the artists.  The show charges no commission on sales.

Blue RibbonAWARDS:

Students  K-2, 3-5 Ribbons for 1st, 2nd, 3rd
Best of Show, Honorable Mention
  6-8, 9-10, 11-12 and College 1st Place - $30.00
2nd Place - $25.00
3rd Place - $20.00
Honorable Mention (3) - $10.00

Pastime (each medium): 1st place - $30.00
2nd place - $25.00
3rd place - $20.00
Honorable Mention - $10.00
 
Professional Awards:
(All Professional works will be judged as one category regardless of medium.) 		1st place (1) - $35.00
2nd Place (2) - $30.00
3rd Place (3) - $25.00
Honorable Mention (3) - $15.00
 
Pastime & Professional: Best of Show - $50.00
