Millcreek Township Ordinances
An ordinance is a local law, similar to statutes passed by Congress and State legislatures.
Millcreek ’s Board of Supervisors enacts a variety of ordinances each year. Ordinances are adopted to establish speed limits, stop intersections, vehicle axle limits and parking regulations on Township streets. If the Supervisors agree with an owner’s request that the zoning classification of a property be changed, that change is confirmed by an ordinance. Less frequently, rights of way dedicated long ago within which no street was built are vacated by ordinance.
